Apple just launched red iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
Unique RED iPhones are the same as regular iPhone 8 except the color.
“This special edition iPhone features a stunning red and black color combination and also offers customers the opportunity to make an impact in fighting the spread of HIV and AIDS,” said Apple’s vice president of product marketing, Greg Joswiak
According to sources Apple has donated more than $160 million to (RED)’s efforts to combat AIDS and Aids over the last 10 plus years.
Unfortunately you can’t get The iPhone X in red, however, Apple also launched a new red iPhone X Leather Case, that will be available starting today for $99.
Launched a year ago in March, the iPhone 7 was the initial iPhone available in RED (please note that the iPhone 7 is a red and white combination, but iPhone 8 is red and black). Apple started their business relationship with (RED) around 2006. When buying any kind of Apple gadgets marked (PRODUCT)RED you should know that portion of revenue will be donated to the Global Fund Aids/AIDS grants.
The red iPhone 8 and eight Plus will probably be available for purchase in “select countries and regions” beginning today April 10th, and they are likely to be available in shops starting this Friday. The iPhone 8 in red starts at $699 and iPhone 8 Plus starts at $799.
